What are cookies
Small text files stored by your browser to recognise you across visits, keep session state, remember preferences and (with consent) measure site usage.
Categories used
1) Necessary (always on): authentication, CSRF, consent banner, locale. 2) Analytics (opt-in): aggregated site-usage metrics. 3) Sentry Session Replay (opt-in): anonymised interaction recording for error debugging. Techmatik & Robotics does NOT use marketing or advertising-profiling cookies and carries out no processing for direct marketing or newsletter purposes.
Main technical cookies
tr_consent_v1 (consent prefs, 12 months); tr_csrf (CSRF token, 1h, rotated on navigation); __session/__client (Clerk auth, session); NEXT_LOCALE (chosen language, 1 year).
Third parties
Clerk (admin auth), PayPal (checkout iframe, processes payments on its own domains), Sentry (error monitoring; session replay only with explicit consent). Data hosted on EU servers when possible; non-EU transfers covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Duration
Session cookies: deleted on browser close. Persistent cookies: max duration listed for each entry under 'Main technical cookies'.
Managing consent
On first visit a banner lets you accept/refuse optional categories. You can change your choice anytime via 'Manage cookies' in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect already-collected data.
Browser and Do-Not-Track
You can block/delete cookies in browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may break the site (login, checkout). We honour Do-Not-Track when sent.
