Some available modifications make the vehicle non-compliant with EU emission and homologation regulations.
Off-road only mods
DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue/SCR off, Lambda off, Swirl off, Speed limiter off and similar are STRICTLY for vehicles not used on public roads (track, off-road, display, non-EU export).
Homologation impact
Activating these mods on a road-registered vehicle entails: homologation void, criminal/administrative penalties, vehicle seizure, technical inspection failure.
Customer responsibility
Customers requesting off-road mods explicitly declare, by accepting the dedicated flag at order time, that the vehicle WILL NOT be used on public roads and assume full criminal, administrative and civil responsibility.
Techmatik release
Once delivered, Techmatik & Robotics neither monitors nor can monitor file usage. No liability for use that diverges from customer declaration.
Road-legal mods
Stage 1 and Stage 2 power-only mods on intact hardware are generally compatible with homologation after eintragung/COC update at the competent authority. Verify with your local DMV before driving on public roads.
